ABOUT US

BERNARTWOOD was established in 2001 by Petr Pavlíček. At first he focused on producing electronic touristic guides on CD-ROM (West Tatry, Rychlebske mountains) and commercial promotion pictures/films, in which the mountain topic, being Petr’s loved subject, started to predominate more and more.

In the winter of 2005/6 Petr set off for the first time on a long and lonely trip with his video camera to the frozen northern wilderness, which definitely directed the next steps of BERNARTWOOD. The initial stage full of attempts, obstacles and inexperience has ended here, which is documented by the autobiographical documentary film, created during this unusual northern trip - you can view this document HERE  - ALONE ACROSS FEMUNDSMARKA

Since 2006 BERNARTWOOD has focused on making films, web pages and photographs with mountain climbing, expedition and adventure topics. Gradually we began to cooperate with the best climbers and adventurers. We undertake the most difficult trips in order to get a unique and mainly quality films and photographic material from inaccessible places, whether they are remote polar areas or the most difficult mountain climbing walls of Europe.

Right from the start we create the projects ourselves, we get the necessary means, take part in the whole event and from subsequent material we create a film, articles and photo galleries, which we further successfully present in many locations.
