NORDLYSSET o.s.

In the spring of 2009 the civil association NORDLYSSET o.s. was established under the auspices of the outdoor film studio BERNARTWOOD and its founder Petr Pavlíček. Nordlys is a term in Norwegian for polar lights. The Polar lights is a symbol of being fetterless, clean and free, which is also the primary objective and content of our activity.

The subject of the association's activity is:

Organising, promoting and supporting sport and adventure activities such as mountain climbing, polar expeditions, mountain tourism, watermanship and other outdoor activities.

Youth education in matters of ecology, active life and Man v Nature relationship.

Supporting talented Czech mountain climbers and sportsmen:

a) by means of promoting their achievements in media in CR as well as abroad

b) by organising training and trips to training areas

 Producing promotional, educational and artistic films and material with outdoor topics.

 Organising talks and photograph exhibitions with the given topic.

 Supporting events and projects of a beneficial importance with similar objectives.

 Promoting the association's activities in a wide spectrum of European media (TV, internet, magazines, festivals, etc.) in order to gain means for further development of the supporting activity of the association.
