Call of the North - Svalbard

A moment from filming documentary movie Call of the North (2007). This afternoon we finally reach the frozen Arctic ocean on the very remote north east coast of svalbard. What a strange feeling, to be just 1000km from the North pole. Isn´t it just a dream? We are alone without any guides in the land on eternal ice, in the kingdom of savage polar bears, in the real arctic wildrness... A moment I was dreaming about the whole childhood...
